and most beautiful part of us.”

 About Me

Hi, I'm Amy Sadiki, LCSW

With over 20 years of experience working in the social services field, I bring a variety of resources to help clients grow through whatever challenges they may be facing. I am so grateful for the privilege of witnessing the strength and resilience of the people I serve and supporting them in their journey towards health and healing.

I specialize in treating adults with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, trauma and PTSD.  I utilize a trauma-informed approach in assessing and treating clients and have a special focus on working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma across their life span.

Drawing from my social work training, I bring an integrative approach to my work with an emphasis on self-determination, collaboration, respect for diversity and a commitment to social justice. I utilize a variety of clinical interventions including humanistic/person-centered approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, mindfulness and EMDR.

Education

I am a licensed clinical social worker in the State of Idaho. I completed my bachelors of social work at Idaho State University and my Master of Social Work at the University of Michigan in 2002.  As a post-graduate, I worked in the U.S. and abroad including working with the United Nations in East Africa. I have worked in a wide range of social service settings in New York and Idaho including medical social work, child welfare, behavioral health crisis services and community mental health. I have been providing clinical mental health counseling services for the past 8 years.
