Traumatic experiences are an inevitable part of the human experience, whether large or small.
I have made it a primary focus of my practice to assist people in understanding and healing from the impacts of trauma. I can assist in recovery from both single-incident traumas and complex trauma stemming from experiences such as domestic violence, a history of childhood abuse and neglect, and other types of chronic abuse.
I am a certified EMDR therapist but also draw from other theoretical models, including Internal Family Systems, attachment-focused and relational theories, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Anxiety is essential to help us stay motivated and prepared for when changes occur. However, you may have reached a point where your anxiety feels unmanageable, physically overwhelming, and is keeping you from engaging in a full life.
I work with people to understand the root causes of their anxiety and develop healthy coping mechanisms for managing uncertainty and change.
I utilize a combination of approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy tools, to help support you in developing a healthier relationship with your anxiety so you can start to savor life again.
It's more than just feeling a little blue. Depression can leave you feeling hopeless, full of guilt, irritable, unmotivated, and physically depleted.
Medications are helpful but may not be adequate to address symptoms. I support my clients in identifying and resolving issues that may be perpetuating depression, coping with chronic health conditions, work stress, caregiver stress, or difficult life transitions.
I utilize an integrative approach, drawing from cognitive behavior therapy, interpersonal therapy, and behavioral activation approaches, among others.
I also believe in taking the deeper dive with clients into understanding how their past experiences may link with and continue to influence their current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
